SEINFELD FANS REJOICE!
The First Canadian Location Has Opened
The Soup Market
Fans of the TV series Seinfeld will already be familiar with the Soup Guy
character, who dished out the best soups imaginable but with a dash of bad attitude.
On May 11, the Soup Market opened in the TD Centre, complete with its own Soup Guy.
Located on the concourse under the Ernst and Young Tower, the Soup Market has on
its menu a distinct variety of meat, poultry, seafood and genuinely vegetarian soups.
The opening day selection included Vichyssoise Parisienne, Santa Fe Black Bean,
Smoked Turkey and Wild Rice, Golden Cheese Broccoli, Maryland Crab, Manhattan Clam
Chowder, Andalusian Gazpacho, Italian Wedding, Pasta Fagioli with Smoked Bacon,
Sherried Lobster Bisque, West African Senegalese Peanut Chicken, Smoked Indian
Lentils, Vegetable Miracle Diet and Cream of Shiitake Mushrooms.
With a recipe list of over 200 hearty soups, everyday can be a soup day.
Remember attitude counts!
